Gladstone Park and General Storage Information

Gladstone Park is a suburb in Melbourne, located 15 kilometres northwest of the city’s Central Business District. At the 2021 census, it recorded a population of 8,213. Its local government area is the City of Hume.

This up-and-coming suburb is bounded by Broadmeadows Road to the north, the Western Ring Road to the south, the Jacana Valley to the east, and the Tullamarine Freeway and Mickleham Road to the west.

European settlement of Gladstone Park started in the 1840s, with the land largely used for agriculture. The suburb was named after Thomas Gladstone, a local land owner in the 1800s. Development started in the 1960s as an estate of Tullamarine. Majority of the residential properties were constructed between 1972 and 1975, as part of Melbourne's outer suburban expansion.
